2016 wird Breslau als Kulturhauptstadt gefeiert und und zu diesem Anlass gastiert das Leopoldinum Kammerorchester Breslau unter seinem Leiter Hartmut Rohde (Viola-Professor der UdK Berlin) im In- und Ausland als Kulturbotschafter.
In Deutschland wird das Ensemble u.a. in der Tonhalle Düsseldorf und im Konzerthaus Berlin zu erleben sein.

[:en]On the 11th of December 2016 this orchestra is a guest in the Tonhalle Düsseldorf. For the 9th, 10th and 12th December, the Orchestra also plays additional concerts with the following program:
Corelli: Concerto grosso op. 6 “Fatto per la notte di natale” (Alternative: Elgar Serenade for Strings)
Weber: Andante e Rondo ungarese, Soloist: Hartmut Rohde
Mozart: Divertimento D-major KV 136
Brahms: Sextet G-major op. 36 arranged for a string orchestra
2016 will see Breslau celebrate being a cultural capital. For this occasion the Leopoldinum chamber orchestra under the auspices of Hartmut Rohde (Viola Professor at the UDK Berlin) will be performing at home and abroad as cultural ambassadors (flyer, biography and press releases of the ensemble are included).
